At Judy's we talked about the Fall 2008 Reunion to celebrate our 65 years on earth. We decided that Austin is the best place because it is centrally located. Our week is the third week of October (which we chose a couple of years ago). That will be October 20 - 27. However I see that we can get special rates at some places in starting in November, so that may turn out to be the best for us all.
Barbara and I are checking on locations. Perhaps we will have a "spa experience" since this is a special year for us. We may have to spend more money than we are used to spending, if we want to go somewhere great!
If you have stayed anywhere near Austin that would be fun, let me or Barbara know your recommendation.

Austin sounds like a great choice for a fall reunion. I rather not come on October 24 this year since it's Duane 65th birthday. Any days around that Friday are fine with me. I looked at the locations you had in mind and they both seem nice -- the ultimate spa experience. Even though we talked about spending more money for this reunion I found The Crossing higher than I'd like to go unless we really got a good deal. If we're in Austin I'd love to see if Huntley's Sister could arrange a tour of the Capital -- such an opportunity. There is so much to do in Austin!
Let's see if this one works. I am having some start up problem with the google password/log in/etc. Ah, for the computer skill of an 11 year old, right?
Keep me posted on the Oct/Nov reunion. Think I can get a direct flight from here to Austin.
